Ride Drive (Southern) is wholly owned by Roger Salmon ADI, IAM (Instructor), RoSPA (Examiner). Roadar (Diploma). Roger was a serving police class1 driver and motorcyclist within Sussex and held those qualifications for 20 years until his retirement from the police in 2005. He has worked with Sussex Porsche dealerships as a consultant since 1990, and is also a qualified Honda Mac instructor. He has owned motorcycles from the age of 19 and is passionate about them and their use.

Ride Drive (Southern) is fully insured with public liability. Ride Drive (Southern) offers driving training for complete beginners to those looking for advanced skills in high-performance cars. Advanced motorbike training is also offered on a one to one or two to one basis.

Training, or as we prefer to call it, ‘Continued Development’ is for everyone who would like to get the best from their vehicle whether it has two wheels or four. The desire to blend seamlessly with one’s machine and realise one’s own potential on some of the best roads that Sussex and Kent have to offer can be fulfilled and be great fun at the same time.

It is recognised by the country's motoring and riding press that the most cost effective ‘bolt on‘ accessory is training. Yes, we can tweak our vehicles and tailor them to our own tastes, however, the manufacturers spend many millions of pounds on development and it is up to us to learn to use these vehicles to the best of our ability.  At Ride Drive (Southern) it is recognised that your needs and wishes are paramount and as individual as you the customer are.
